Earth Leakage

Earth Leakage Toroids

For use in conjunction with Bramco el1 earth leakage relays, designed to detect leakage current and transmit a proportional signal to earth  leakage relay.

Earth Leakage Relay el3, is a compact din-rail mounted unit designed to detect Earth Fault Currents flowing in a power system. Compliant to latest Australian standards and utilising advanced microprocessor technology, el3 provides protection for VVVF drives.

Earth Leakage Relay fel3, is a compact fascia mounted unit designed to detect Earth Fault Currents flowing in a power system. Compliant to latest Australian standards and utilising advanced microprocessor technology, el3 provides protection for VVVF drives.

elf3

The ELF3 is an earth leakage module that provides protection against earth leakage faults and gives clear visual indication of the fault conditions. It uses an earth leakage toroid to measure RMS current and operates tripping contacts when the measured RMS current exceeds the trip setting for the duration of the trip time setting.

Earth Continuity

i-C

Earth Continuity Relay i-C, is an advanced, compact din-rail mounted unit designed to monitor the continuity of the Earth Circuit in a supply cable by grounding the pilot core via a diode, polarised positive to earth.

iC1

Combined control for Earth Continuity and Pilot Control, iC1 is an cost effective, advanced, din-rail compact unit designed to monitor the continuity of the Pilot Earth Circuit in a supply cable by grounding the pilot core via a diode. Local/Remote start operation is selectable. Compliant to latest Australian standards, iC1 utilises advanced microprocessor technology.

Providing combined control for Earth Continuity and Pilot Control, iC2 is an advanced, compact unit designed to monitor the continuity of the Pilot Earth Circuit in a supply cable by grounding the pilot core via a diode. This device is particularly suitable for operation on high voltage long distance supply cables.

iC3

The Bramco ic3 Earth Continuity Relay is designed to actively monitor the Resistance of the Pilot Earth Circuit in a supply cable by diode termination. The ic3 utilises microprocessor technology to provide a greater level of stability over longer pilot cables by using digital filtering techniques.

Pilot Control

iD

Pilot Control Relay i-D is an advanced, compact din-rail mounted unit designed to monitor the continuity of the Earth Circuit in a supply cable by grounding the pilot core via a diode, polarized positive to earth, and to allow remote start/stop operation by momentarily shorting a 100 Ohm resistor in the pilot circuit and opening the pilot with a stop button to open the relay.

Neutral Earth

nlm3

nlm3 is a multi adjustable, advanced, din-rail compact unit designed to provide neutral Link monitoring. Compliant with latest Australian standards, nlm3 is a NER integrity protection device designed to continuously monitor the current limitation system on the secondary star point to earth connection of a supply transformer. nlm3 monitors the NER Resistance integrity, excess phase voltage rise, neutral earth leakage current, with the ability to adjust trip times for protection coordination.

Pump Control

PCM

Pump Control Module pcm is an advanced, compact unit designed to provide submersible pump control. It monitors the current used by the pump and differentiates between load and no load currents. Two modes of operation apply. Manual mode will only switch the pump off and wait for manual switch intervention for starting the pump. Automatic mode will do full control of the pump operation by switching the pump on and off based on the level switch inputs and selected pause timer.

PCM+

Phase Rotation/Loss Monitor Relay prm, is an advanced, compact unit designed to provide control and monitoring for phase rotation, phase loss of a 3 phase circuit. Suitable for Neutral referred circuits.

Bramco is proud to announce the recent completion of our CCMS Signal Line Conveyor Control and Management System on several overland conveyors in central Queensland. The CCMS signal line was selected as a safety monitoring system for these conveyors which ranged in length from 1.5km (4950 feet) to 21km (69,300 feet). Bramco is the only company with the ability to control systems over 25km in length from one system and one location. We provide multiple stop start controls and the HOW, WHEN, WHERE & WHY the conveyor is tripped. We currently have a wide number of integrated solutions available, all of which may be customised to suit your needs and your budget.

Remote Isolation

The ultimate in conveyor signal line control. Our CCMS provides a fully integrated operating package including stop start control, emergency stop control, continuous monitoring of over 300 trip/stop locations each with over 15 digital and/or analogue trip points per location, monitored Pre Start Warning for the full length of the system, broadcast Voice warning and update Communication along the full length of the system, system status Voice Synthesiser broadcast along the system and instigation of Remote Isolation of ALL motive power from the drive system with isolated confirmation indication to the requestor. CCMS is remotely controlled, offers unlimited monitoring and performance reports and can be interrogated remotely. The system can operate over unlimited conveyor lengths (currently operating over 40,000 metres from one controller), covers any sequencing needs, has a maximum output control voltage of just 28Volt DC and requires either a 4 core or 6 core cable depending on customer requirements. We provide as part of this fully integrated package our Pullkey emergency trip switches, amplifier units in addition to prestart alarms and other accessories. This also works with our unique temperature compensation units, which eradicate nuisance tripping due to temperature fluctuations.

BK400 Safety Trip Switches

The BK400 Conveyor safety trip switch provides pull wire protection on conveyors. It provides industry leading features, such as durability, strength and can be mounted at 200metre centres along conveyor structures. BK400 is available in two models. The BK400S – single shafted key, which operates in a balanced pullwire configuration and the BK400D dual shafted key, where the two pullwires operate mechanically independent of one another. BK400 may be located on one side of the conveyor and configured to provide pull wire protection to both sides of the conveyor. BK400 complies with (amongst others) AS1755, AS4024 and AS62061.

ATT - Avoid Temperature Tripping

An unique, industry leading initiative, which controls a conveyor systems emergency trip wire, ensuring it is ready to perform at all times by keeping it taut regardless of temperature, eradicating nuisance tripping and drastically minimising system maintenance needs.

Temperature compensation is necessary where variations in temperature will cause the length of the pull wire to vary. This we achieve by supplying a Tension Assembly to accept the extensions of the wire and the distribution back into the system when movement occurs. The Tension Assembly continually maintains a constant tension on the emergency trip wires.
