As part of Bramco’s exciting new b3 series the ic3 represents next generation earth continuity and pilot wire monitoring and protection. The ic3 is designed to latest statutory requirements and industry standards and represents the culmination of over two years of efforts by Bramco’s research team. As part of our I.S certification the I.S model of the ic3 is now available for release.

The Bramco ic3 Earth Continuity Relay is designed to replace older models such as IC, IC1 and IC2. The ic3 will actively monitor the Resistance of the Pilot Earth circuit in a supply cable via diode termination.

The ic3 utilizes latest microprocessor technology to provide a greater level of stability over extremely long length pilot cables by using digital filtering techniques. The microprocessor also performs continual self diagnostics to prevent false tripping or failure to operate. The ic3 has user selectable trip resistance, adjustable between 5 and 45 ohms as well as user selectable trip time from 100-500ms for electrically noisy cable reels and VSD.

el3 is an intelligent microprocessor based, versatile, earth fault protection module. It has been designed to detect earth current faults flowing in a power system and provide a timed tripping mechanism and excels on latest VVVF drive types.

The Bramco Neutral Link Monitor relay (nlm3) is a NER integrity protection device designed to continuously monitor the current limitation system on the secondary star point to earth connection of a supply transformer.

The unit can also be utilised to monitor a direct connection to earth from the star point. The nlm3 monitors the NER Resistance integrity, excess phase voltage rise, neutral earth leakage current, with the ability to adjust trip times for protection coordination.

Features:
• Connects directly to AC supply systems up to 1100V without additional barrier
• Can be utilised on systems with line voltages up to 4160V with additional barrier
• Earth Leakage Current is monitored in the neutral to earth circuit using an external toroid
• LED Indication of: Power On, NER integrity, Excess Voltage and Earth Leakage Current
